Do you offer a guarantee on the authenticity on the art pieces on Partial?
While we don't offer a specific "guarantee", all of the artwork on Partial is directly from the Artist and is validated as such by the Artist themselves (and agreed-upon in our Terms with the artists). Should a conflict arise, please notify our Customer Care team [customercare@partial.gallery] and we will work to resolve it.
How do I know if the art piece comes framed or ready to hang?
All the necessary details are shown on the artwork product page. If you're not sure, submit message on the art piece with your question directly to the artist.
Can I contact the artist with any questions I might have regarding the art piece?
Yes, you may submit any comments and questions to the artist regarding their work through their public comments board. Chances are, someone else is wondering the same thing and would love to know the answer!
What happens if the artwork gets damaged in my possession? Should I be getting insurance protection?
We provide artwork insurance coverage for artwork up to a value of CAD $10,000. Our policy will cover damage to the artwork in the case of extreme circumstances, such as a fire or flooding, and human error and accidents on a case by case basis. Artwork won't, however, be covered for damage caused by gross negligence and you will be held responsible for paying for the damages incurred (so no, don't mount a dart board next to your art piece).
Do prices on the site include shipping fee?
Shipping fee is not included with the artwork price. Shipping is calculated during your booking conversation with the artist depending on your area and how the artist would like to ship/drop off their artwork. You may also pick up the work directly from the artist if this is an option offered.
Can I buy out my art piece before the rental period is over?
Yes, you can buy out the rented art piece at any time by going back into your booking chat with the artist. The difference owed to own the work will be calculated there, and clicking the "Process Payment" will process the charge to your credit card on file.
